Our Trip to Colorado

We recently took a trip to Colorado. It was loads of fun. We started by driving through Breckenridge. That's where Beth and I spent our 1 year anniversary. It's pretty crazy, Beth and I have now been married for over a year. It's funny, we've heard from many people that the first year is the hardest. But honestly, our first year was pretty darn awesome. Perhaps that's just because Beth and I are so non-confrontational. We typically only disagree about what to see at the dollar theater, and even then we come to a consensus. So anyhow, we're doing great and looking forward to another fabulous year. So yeah, my parents were able to get us some bonus time on their time share in Breckenridge so we enjoyed a fabulous evening at a top-notch resort. We ate at Downstairs at Eric's of course. The picture below was the one decent picture we got while at Breckenridge. We then moved on to Fort Collins.

Beth insisted that we take some pictures for our one-year anniversary.

Mike was pretty excited about taping up James. He then let James tape him up.

Beth caught in some deep contemplation...

This is the local neighborhood park, Riffenburgh Elementary - where I went long ago. Of course the pard is totally different now - nothing to break any bones on. Parks just aren't like they used to be.

This is our series of "Action Shots"

I volunteered to make James' birthday cake - well actually it was mine and James'. His birthday is on the 15th and mine the 14th. So naturally the cake was Star wars themed.

These are his presents, the t-rex loaded with gummy worms was from Beth and me.

Our next trip was to Vedauwoo - the coolest little oasis of rock formations in Whyoming.

Super-imposed Beth the Hulk

Though a little bit nervous, Beth successfully made her way down the rock face.

That's Jake on his way down.
And of course more action shots.

I love our family. We always have such grand adventures and we get along so well. We all love and support each other and there's no end to the good times and plentiful laughter. Thanks for being so awesome everybody.

ps i think the pic of james in tape and james with a lolipop are award worthy... maybe its just james... maybe he should be a model or in cereal commercials.

  2. I agree with Lissa, those pictures are pretty bomb-tastic. Also, you should put some of these on facebook. The one with is making a circle/diamond thingy in the air would make a pretty incredible profile picture, haha.
