4th of July

Here's Brett's 4th of July super outfit.

Beth with little Cody

You can see in the background how many people come together at Sugarhouse Park for the 4th.

Nice little sunset.

A silhouette of Beth's foot against the the fireworks.

This was our ward's float. We actually won an award for Heritage or something. They had us dress up as missionaries and wear our name tags. We have to admit, is was pretty weird - everyone thought we were actually missionaries. It didn't help that we were strolling behind all the REAL missionaries of the Provo mission. Anyway, it was cool to recall how much the members love the missionaries - everyone was like wooh wooh! We love the missionaries and we gave like 10,000 kids high fives.

Then we took tons of pictures of all the floats. We figured this would be the only time we actively participated in a parade so we really got into it.

We with my imposter name tag and a bunch of pirates.

These guys were pretty cool. They're a group of entertainers that are based in St. Geroge.

Someone wasn't paying attention to where they were driving their tank.

And this was an adorable little girl that was dressed up as a pioneer.
